OpenIDs

OpenId.net is an open source project aimed at providing users with a single web-wide digital identity.  Which means one username, one password - everywhere.

Your identy  can be based on your social networking site profile, your URL, your email address,  your blog’s address, or any account through an OpenID provider.  Large sites such as Yahoo, Google, MySpace, and Microsoft have recently adopted the universal login technology by becoming providers. Users can choose which provider account they want to use and login everywhere with that account. The goal is simplicity, but so far its greatest challenge is its complexity.  Users predominently choose the traditional logins over an OpenId login, so many provider companies are currently working on developing improved and simplifed user interfaces.  Developers can and add OpenID any site.
