Flash developers who post their files and code on blogs and forums to receive help, to give help, to teach, etc, should check some of the popular Flash template sites occasionally. The flash developer who maintains the blog, No Ponies, recently found a user at FlashDen selling one of his files. Then he went to another forum and found a user posting some of his other class files.

I recently browsed through a random web designer’s blog and noticed something that you don’t normally find on a web designer’s blog. Under the title “Inspiration” were little thumbnails of interior spaces. Interested, I clicked on thumbnails and moved on to a flickr gallery of photos from the interior design expo, Interieur 08. So, I briefly thought about my own love for interior design and about its significant relationship to graphic design, mainly in regards to forms and proportions. And these thoughts inspired me to write down some commonalities that different design fields share. But, in doing so I quickly realized that most commonalities are just the basic principals of design that cover all design fields, whether it’s graphic design, interior design, architecture, industrial design, or any other _____ design.
