The Internet shrinks!

Yes. It is true! The Internet shrinks.
Not a joke. According to NetCraft (www.netcraft.com) the total number of websites all around the globe in January 2009 was 185 million. Surprised? You thought it’s more?  Well, be happy and think on the business potential waiting there. But before you get euphoric know this: the Internet shrunk!  In December we had 1.23 million websites more.
And who had the largest number of visitors? According to Alexa (www.Alexa.com) it was NOT Google but Yahoo. Surprised again? But this was in 2008. And Google still has over 80% of the search traffic (Yahoo around 11%).  And in December 2008 Google was back on op with visits. Here are the numbers for December 2008:4
